Research and development projects
 
National Innovation Fund can provide grants for realization of Research and development (R&D).
 
R&D must address the following:
- creating of new types of science intensive products;
- improving technical quality level of products;
- developing new and improving existent technologies.
 
Selection of R&D projects is made through a comprehensive scientific and technical expertise, finance and marketing expertise, evaluation of commercial viability of the R&D results.  Evaluation of commercial potential includes evaluation of a product competitive advantages level (technology), perspectives the advantages long-term availability, and existence of a potential market (consumers).
Financing is provided to legal entities with a condition of the Fund’s property share rights on the R&D
