Chief executive officer
He works in National innovation fund from September 2009. Occupational life – 15 years, time record on state service – more than 8 years, 8 years of which in executive positions. Prior to coming to the Fund, he served in Kazakhstan Presidential Administration (Deputy Director of socio-economic monitoring), the Ministry of energy and mineral resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Director of Department of strategy planning and cross-sector co-ordination). Also, in different time, he served in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Director of Department of strategy planning and summary analysis, Director of Department of Industrial Policy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan), Office of Industry, Trade and Small Business, etc.
Graduated engineer-economic faculty of East Kazakhstan State Technical University n.a. D. Serikbayev in the specialty «Economy and Pilot Operation on Transport» (1997).
Graduated from Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the specialty «State administration» (2004).
Phd in Technical Sciences (2001).
He has also completed a number of special trainings in Japan (Light Industry development, September-November 2004), Korea (Strategy of Economic Development, June 2009) and Singapore (Rapid and sustainable industrial development: Singapore experience, September-October 2008), etc.
He was born on 9 July, 1976 in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Married, has two daughters.
Anuarbek Sultangazin
Deputy Chief executive officer
He works in National innovation fund from June 2011. Prior to coming to the Fund he served in executive positions in «Arna Media» National information holding» JSC (Deputy Chief executive officer), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Executive secretary, Chairman of the Committee of financial control and public procurement), Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation of natural monopolies and competition protection (Deputy Chief executive officer). Also, in different time, he served in Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for civil service affairs, Account Committee for Control over Execution of the Republican Budget, etc.
Graduated from Karaganda State University in the specialty «Economy» (1983). Doctor of Science, Economics, Docent. He has decorated with an order «Kurmet» (2007), medal for valorous labour (1986), diploma of Supreme Soviet of Kazakh SSR (1984). He was born in 1956, November 20, in Kurgan district, Russia.

He works in National innovation fund from April 2011. Prior to coming to the Fund he served in executive positions in «Development Bank of Kazakhstan» JSC (Vice-President, Managing Director – member of Executive Board), Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Transport Control, Deputy Director General of RSE «Information production center»). Also, in different time, he served in National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on public procurement, Commercial Bank «Kazmetallbank», Industrial-financial corporation «Orle», Kazakh Research Institute of Mineral Raw Materials.
Graduated from Kazakh Polytechnic Institute in the specialty «Non-ferrous metallurgy» (1985) and Kazakh Economic University n.a. T. Ryskulov with a specialization in «Finance and Credit» (2002). Completed training on project financing in Japan International Cooperation Agency (Tokio, 2005) and on project analysis in Association of Institutes for development of Asia and Oceania (Manila, 2004).
Author of invention and research articles in the field of mineral processing technologies.

He works in National innovation fund from April 2011. Previously held a position of Managing director in «Samruk-Kazyna» Real estate fund» JSC. In different time, he served as Director of the Department of Project Financing «Damu» Entrepreneurial development fund», financial advisor in KPMG, investments manager in National innovation fund JSC.
Graduate from Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP) with the master degree on business management. He is a scholar of Presidential programme «Bolashak», master in the field of finance and accounting of London School of Economics.

Yesengazina Gulnara Kabdeshevna
Gulnara Kabdeshevna works in National Innovation Fund since April 2011. She has general employment history of 29 years, 9 years in the field of teaching, and 20 years in the field of project activity. Prior to joining the fund, Mrs. Yesengazina worked in Engineering and Technology Transfer Centre JSC (Managing Director – Member of the Board, Vice-President, Director of Engineering Department, Director of the Department of commercialization of scientific technical designs, senior manager, manager). Moreover, Gulnara Kabdeshevna worked in different periods in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, UNDP, IAC Center-Audit, Kostanai Agricultural Institute and others.
Mrs. Yesengazina graduated from Almaty Institute of National Economy with a degree in ‘Accounting and Analysis on economic activity’ (1987) and International independent ecology and political university in Moscow with a degree in 'Ecological Audit' (2001)
Gulnara Yesengazina has a range of scientific publications and more than 30 certifications in the following domains: lean production ('Lean – practice', expert of lean technology), mental technologies, energy-saving technologies, ISO standards, strategic planning, competitive and sectoral analysis, international business, project management (professional project manager with level 'C' UPMA.C.01.00154), and independent appraisal (verification) in the projects of Kyoto Protocol, financial, economic and investment analysis of projects.
Mrs. Yesengazina has also obtained additional education in Japan ('Immersion in lean'. Training platform: Motomachi factory, Toyota corporation) (December 2010), in Thailand on lean-technology (November, 2010), in Korea (KIST – Korean Institute of Science and Technology, July, 2009), in Federal Republic of Germany ('Manager of International business', March-April, 2006), in USA (ecology and financial audit, July, 2002), in Finland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Philippines and others.
Gulnara Kabdeshevna has managed projects on technical expertise of projects as well as expertise of investment proposals, and on development of technical and economic assessment (of industrial and special economic zones, ecological projects)

Rahimov Rasul Nurlanovich
Rasul Nurlanovich works in National Innovation Fund since October 2009. Prior to joining the fund, Mr. Rahimov worked in Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (consultant of the Center of strategic developments and analysis), Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Head of Office for coordination of industrial policy),
UMZ JSC (marketing engineer, manufacturing engineer of beryllium production, operator of the 4th. category). He had also undertaken placement on beryllium production in Brush Wellman Co (USA).
Mr. Rahimov graduated from East-Kazakhstan state technical University named after D. Serikbayev with a degree in ‘Metallurgy of nonferrous metals’ (2000), East-Kazakhstan State University named after S. Amanzholov with a degree in ‘Foreign language’ (2002). In September 2004 he obtained master degree in ‘Environmental Management’ of Brandenburg Technical University in Cottbus (Germany). Two years after that, Mr. Rahimov granted a Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan ‘Bolashak’ and graduated from Oxford University (Great Britain) with master degree in ‘Environmental change and Management’.

Bishimbayeva Saule Kozykeevna
Saule Kozykeevna works in National Innovation Fund since August 2009. Prior to joining the fund, Mrs. Bishimbayeva worked in the Office of Majilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Deputy Director of information analytical department), University of International Business (UIB) (Director of the Office in Astana), Academy of public service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Chairman of the Department of 'Public Regulation of Economy', Chief scientific secretary of the Academy), Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi (Deputy Chairman of the Department of 'Public and Municipal Management'), Kazakh Holding Company 'Astana – Holding' (Manager of financial analytical department), South-Kazakhstani bureau of procurement in 'Yuzhkazglavsnab' (economist in economic department)
Mrs. Bishimbayeva graduated from Almaty Institute of National Economy with a degree in 'Economics and Procurement Planning' (1987). She has obtained a postgraduate degree in Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Academy of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1997) as well as doctoral degree in Kazakh Economic University named after T.Ryskulov (2006). She has also graduated from South-Kazakhstani State University named after M. Auezov with a degree in 'Law'.

Mogilnyi Sergei Valeryevich
Sergei Valeryevich works in National Innovation Fund since June 2011. Prior to joining the fund, Mr. Mogilnyi held executive posts in KazAgroInnovation JSC (managing director, Vice-President), as well as in Engineering and Technology Transfer Centre JSC (Director of Innovation Infrastructure Development Department, Vice-President). Moreover, Sergei Valeryevich worked in different periods in Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, Investment Fund of Kazakhstan JSC, Joint chemical company LLP and others.
Mr. Mogilnyi graduated from Kazakh State National University named after. Al-Farabi with a degree in 'Public and Municipal Management' (2000), Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev with master degree in 'Economics and Management' (2002) as well as got postgraduate studies in 'Economics and National Economy Management' in the same University (2004).

Salimov Zhumatai Kabdollayevich
Zhumatai Kabdollayevich works in National Innovation Fund since October 2010. Prior to joining the fund, Mr. Salimov worked in Ministry of economic development and trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Director of the Department of development of sectors of economy), Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (consultant, expert of the Department of social economic monitoring).
Mr. Salimov graduated from Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev with a degree in 'Country studies' (2005) as well as School of Public Affairs of the American University (USA) granted by the program 'Bolashak' (2008). He was awarded by MPA (Master of Public Administration)
Zhumatai Kabdollayevich has the Award of John D. Young of the School of Public Affairs of the American University; he is the member of National Honorable Society of the USA in the domain of public policy and public administration.
Zhumatai Kabdollayevich can speak English, Urdu and Hindi.

Mukazhanov Bektas Amangeldinovich
Bektas Amangeldinovich works in National Innovation Fund since July 2011. Prior to joining the fund, Mr. Mukazhanov held executive positions in ‘OOIUPA ‘Zhetysu’ JSC (Managing Director – Member of the Board of Directors), ‘NPF ‘BTA Kazakhstan’ JSC (Director of Risk Management Department). In different periods he also worked in Joint Stock Company ‘National Welfare Fund ‘Samruk-Kazyna’, ‘Renaissance Capital’ and ‘Air Astana’ JSC.
Mr. Mukazhanov graduated National Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev with a degree in ‘Computer systems of information processing and management’ (2005, qualification – engineer). He is a scholarship holder of Presidential program ‘Bolashak’ with a master degree in ‘Information Technologies and Management’ (Keele University – NewCastle, Great Britain)
Mr. Mukazhanov is also a candidate for CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) – in 2011 he successfully passed examination of the third level.
