Taking into account the priorities of state innovation policy on stimulating innovative activity of the Republic of Kazakhstan, strengthening international cooperation with key organizations of advanced innovation economy countries with national innovation system ( hereinafter - NIS), development of transfer technologies system and increasing investment capacity of Kazakhstan, National Innovation Fund JSC (hereinafter - NIF JSC or the Fund) exercises international cooperation with innovation organizations of the USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Belgium, Finland, Israel, Turkey, Korea, Malaysia, Russia and others. The Fund also cooperates with international organizations such as UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), European Union (within the EU Framework Program), Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), World Innovation Foundation (WIF). NIF JSC takes active part in integration within Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) on formation of Eurasian innovation system.
One of the key events in international cooperation of NIF JSC is Innovative Congress that traditionally takes place in the framework of Astana Economic Forum.
Department of External Affairs that supervises international cooperation works on opening Kazakh-Korean Technological Cooperation Centre, Kazakh-German Technology Transfer Centre jointly with Innovation Infrastructure Development Centre. Since 2010 Kazakh-French Transfer Technology Centre has been successfully working on the basis of NIF JSC.
